WomanUP Media is founded by 

Kelly Wade, who also serves as the podcast host.

WomanUP Media is founded by Kelly Wade, a 3X CEO in the construction space and the first female CEO of a national roofing company. She has led companies in all 50 states and as many as 1100 team members. She has sold a national company to an ESOP, sold a national company to private equity,  and led several acquisitions from the buy-side. Through her Go Get Life company, she has advised companies on how to optimize for growth or a sale, and is always looking to invest or acquire small businesses with solidly built brands. 

Kelly grew up in a small town in Ohio to street smart entrepreneurial parents and worked alongside them learning every area of the family’s clothing and hotel businesses. After graduating from Miami University’s journalism program, she started her career in advertising which led to corporate marketing and eventually leading companies.

Along the way, Kelly became the proud mama of two sons and her trekking companion husky. When she’s not working – and many times while she is – she loves high altitude cultural trekking in the most interesting places in the world, skiing, biking, reading, yoga, and writing.

Passionate about women being able to go for it all, Kelly launched WomanUP Media and the WomanUP podcast to share her tales in this man’s world, inspire change, and moderate healthy conversations and debates about everything under the sun. She plans to produce more content with incredible women along the way.
